Let's Go Green Day is an opportunity for our hotel and corporate teams to go that extra mile and make a personal contribution to us being an eco-friendly organisation. We'll be handing our prizes to those hotels which make the best endeavour to reduce energy and we'll encourage changes in the way we work, including simple changes such as switching off unnecessary lights, unplugging electrical equipment, stopping using standby and cutting our energy consumption.
We're delighted to confirm that the last of our Express hotels has now relaunched and Holiday Inn Express Bath now boasts the great new signage, landscaping, hot breakfast, pillow choice and improved service that you find at the rejuvenated brand!
You know what you want in a hotel and that's why we're making big changes at Holiday Inn Express. Our new sign is the first thing you'll notice, the biggest changes are taking place on the inside. World Cup fever hits hotels
Football frenzy has arrived at Somerston Hotels with a number of special promotions taking place in our bars. Many hotels are offering prize draws with Budweiser hold-alls, t-shirts and more available for the lucky winners. Guests at Holiday Inn Express London Hammersmith even have the opportunity to win a replica Jules Rimet trophy.

Free wifi roll out continues at Holiday Inn Express
Holiday Inn Express Droitwich M5, Jct 5 is the latest hotel in our group to get free WiFi across the Great Room lounge, ensuring that our guests can stay connected while on their travels! Ideal for checking emails and browsing the web this great new facility further confirms that Holiday Inn Express is the brand of choice for great value, convenient accommodation.
Other hotels within our group where you can enjoy free WiFi are the Holiday Inn Express hotels in Hammersmith, Milton Keynes, London Luton Airport, Swindon, East Midlands Airport, Cambridge, Newport and Swansea. Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre is now open
We are delighted to announce the official opening of our newest hotel, the 151-room Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre, located at Kings Dock Mill, Hurst Street, Liverpool L1 8JH.
The Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre is located just minutes from the Echo Arena, BT Convention Centre, Albert Dock and The Beatles' Story. Getting into bed with the BNI
Holiday Inn Express Droitwich saw an opportunity in working with their local BNI group to spread the word on our Relaunch and product by using weekly relationship building with the local community. BNI is the world's largest business-networking organisation with approximately 4,900 groups throughout every populated continent of the world. Last year alone, BNI generated over 4.9 million referrals resulting in over £960 million worth of business for its members.
Droitwich attend a weekly breakfast meeting which starts at 6.30am and finishes at 8.30am. During this meeting, 20 local business owners have breakfast together and each business gets a 60 second slot to present their business to the group. After the 60 seconds, the crucial part of the meeting starts with group members passing business referrals between the group. Within the first 6 weeks, Somerston had won business for the Droitwich hotel and Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Riverside. If this can be achieved in 6 weeks, what can be achieved in a year?
Somerston have been working hard to relaunch all 32 hotels as Holiday Inn Express and our efforts have helped IHG with the biggest relaunch in hospitality history. This means that they are two-thirds of the way through the massive project which will ensure that Holiday Inn keeps its place as one of the world's leading brands.
